Frequently Asked Questions
Materials
What are your pieces made from?
Three families: solid S925 sterling silver (some plated in rhodium or gold), gold-plated alloy (electroplated over a base metal), and settings using freshwater pearl, moissanite or zircon. The material is named on every product page.
Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?
Our S925 sterling silver pieces are generally well tolerated by sensitive skin. Our plated alloy pieces are electroplated over a base metal, and we do not currently publish their nickel content — if you have a nickel allergy, we would suggest choosing sterling silver, or emailing us before ordering.
Will plating wear off?
Plating is a surface layer and will wear with time and contact. Our care guide covers how to slow that down.
